Bought the seat. Put it on last weekend and road just a short 200 miles on Sunday, but I've also been riding to work everyday this week. It's pretty damn nice.

I wanted to shorten the bike for my short height of 5'1", so I also changed to 10.5" shocks at the same time. I bit stiffer and bouncier, but in a fun way (sort of...lol). Much more manageable, not only with pushing the bike but more manageable in the ride, as well.

Not sure how much breaking in time it needs.

Ycbrewster, would you mind posting some close up photos, I'm in limbo too.
Thank you in advance

What do you need pics of? My bike was in an accident a few months back, so I no longer have her, but you're welcome to whatever pics I have.

Default WINDSHIELD for HD Street

My apology YCBREWSTER - I was referring to photos of your WINDSHIELD and how it's attached.

I went to a HD dealer to get the HD windshield from my Street. I decided against it since I had to remove the head bezel/fairing to install windshield and some wires would be exposed. My fairing is custom-painted, so it's a must-stay or I can get another fairing with better wind-protection and just get a new fairing custom-painted to match. I like the big Batwing from Memphis Shade and MS has another options that are more affordable with better wind protection.

HD WINDSHIELD is $320. The Memphis Shades options (photo from the dealer catalog) is less than $200 and can easily get it painted to match my Harley. I want the mirrors with running light too.

Would the menphis shade do anything for wind? It still seems fairly small; larger than original, but it can't create that much of a buffer.

I'm sorry, I did not get the Memphis Shade, I was only sharing the information. I had the HD Windshield, and removed my cowling. The picture at the top of this page is a pretty good view of it, but I can post additional pictures of it...I am sure I can find more. I have many rides already with Go Pro recordings...if that is what you are looking for.
