Maybe someone will tell us. Have a good week. Took this bike out on a short trip and love it. I think Harley's got a Gem if they don't give up. This is not a throw away bike. It'll probably last if you take care of it. My brother thinks it's a Joke, he is a Old Biker. I've rode Sportsters. Never the big baggers. This is a Harley but Just smaller.
It depends if parts will be available. Can you get parts for the Aermacci HD's of the 70's. People are selling them for mint, but if you cant get them running and keep them rubbing they are just garage art.

My dealer throws the 1K in with a new bike purchase. Other wise I do all my own services.
You may do your own services without any impact on the warranty. Magnuson-Moss federal law on warranties does allow a manufacturer to require that their dealers do the work to maintain the warranty but only if the work is provided without cost.
I always say what I feel so if any dealership ever said what they did to the OP I challenge them immediately never do business with them again.
Side note: The Street well into it's second year of strong sales. It also has been selected to replace the KR750 for its flat track racing program. H-D is fielding a factory team this year and Vance and Hines is working with H-D on the engine development as they do with the Dominator. It will be around for some time.

My bf just did my 5K for me last weekend. I didn't help much but paid attention. It actually is quite manageable on our sweet basic ride. Almost everything was easily accessible with the exception of one spark plug that did require us to shift the tank a bit. For those inclined, doing it yourself is well worth the savings.

While I'm on this soapbox, you might want to carry some elementary tools with you. It's a great feeling to help a stranded rider when out riding.

LCHD in town wanted $240.
the Service writer said it was a single drain plug, the same oil for engine/primary/tranny, he recommended I do it myself if I could change the oil on a lawnmower.
so I bought the filter for $9 or so (maybe 7?)
will just get some oil from somewhere, HD oil was $12 a quart for synthetic.
we bought it used on this Forum, so the wife was able to get them to do the inspection for free to make sure it was safe and had all the recalls, since it was a 2015. took them dozen cookies & cupcakes in payment!

This morning I drop the oil on the 750 Street. In 49 years I have changed a lot of HD oil and lube. This is the first time I never spilled a drop, I can't get any easier. Two cups of coffee and it was done including all clean up.
1 filter 1 O ring 3 quarts M1 9.99 before rebate. Looked rest of the bike over little spray lube on moving parts and linkage, cables. Checked belt with gauge good to go.
