sounds like a 'rainy day' project! I love to tinker in the bikes on rainy Saturday afternoons, under a tin roof with some old R&R and a cold BEvERage.
I hear ya on the odd angle of the mount though, the oval pegs that we have on the Street at pretty much on in the down position because they bang into too much stuff to fold up.
if you look at where the peg sits in relation to the back of the brake arm, there is only about 3/32" clearance when it is down and there is no folding it up.

I agree!
The combination of the exhaust and the brake pedal lever makes doing anything with that right peg a little problematic.
But with a lot of patience, some creativity and a little compromise here and there an enterprising person can come up with alternatives.
With the right "incentives". LOL

I believe it is a National Cycle branded windshield that we ordered from Revzilla.
I think the Harley branded one was about $300 and you have to remove the headlight nacelle to install it, but this one is about $95 for clear (tinted is a little more expensive) and you don't have to remove anything to install it.
I think this is the correct link for the one we bought: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...een-windshield

I put a $61 dollar Spitfire from J&P which comes close to matching the curve of the nacelle very well.
No picture of it. I will post one when I get the Street Rod back from the dealer. I did transfer it to the Street Rod when I traded.
On the Street Rod I did put a Firebrand muffler on it. It was the slightly louder model.
