Default 2017 XG750 Seat and Muffler Options?

Hello all, my name is Rick, I just bought a Street 750 and am still in the break in period but can already tell that one of the first mods will be to kick that stock seat. I'm thinking either the Mustang Fastback or Touring, leaning more towards the Touring. Can anyone provide any input on either of these or if you went with a different aftermarket option, I'd like to hear about it. I'd prefer to stay with a two up.

I already know that at some point I will be wanting to go with a louder muffler as well and don't want to have to deal with having a tune done just for a muffler. I'd love to hear what you guys are running, and if possible some sound clips. I'm not looking for anything too loud, I want a good sound as well as extra volume.

If you can't tell I want to stay with the black on black so chrome is going to be at a minimum, I think all I really want as far as bling goes is the engine and air cleaner badges for a little bit of bling.

I got the Vance and Hines muffler. Sounds great and not badly priced.

I was looking at that one on Revzilla, did it require a tune. I don't want to go busting my warranty.

I have the Big Boy seat that raises the rider 2 inches and moves back 2 inches. I traded for a Street Rod and it will not fit it.

At 6'3" and 210 it made the bike fit very well. Did almost 900 miles in a one day run to Sturgis on it and a total of 5,200 miles.

Pm your address if you want it and I'll ship it to you.

That is very kind of you and I would greatly appreciate it. I may be a little slow here but for some reason your public profile doesn't give an option to message you. Please let me know how much the shipping is and I will send payment via PayPal if you have, or a money order. It can be shipped to my work address :

thndrchiken:

Found the seat today and a strap. Need to find a proper box. So progress was made.

If you saw my garage you would know that it is almost a miracle to find stuff.

I did a full stage one on the bike. So it did need a tune. When you change the air fuel and back pressure, its a good idea to tune. I used the Fuel Pack 3. Does not void your warrantee. If that's your big concern than leave it stock until the warrantee is over.

Default Exhaust

Hello brother,

I really dig the Bassani. I got the short straight pipe. Nice idle and wicked growl when rollin' on the throttle. Nothing sounds like a twin cam but I have a lot of fun on my 500.
