"Alanui" - AKC's 2017 Street Rod Ride/Mod/Muse Thread
#51
Well folks, I'm afraid I'm another one to say goodbye to the XG750A Street Rod...
Alanui was a fun ride, and I never experienced any of the aches and pains others have. But I will admit, even with my 29" inseam, I was finding the riding position to be somewhat lacking.
And a few other quirks were beginning to wear a bit thin. But overall, I thought the XG750A was a good bike, it just kinda missed the mark with it's intended audience.
But mostly, it was a complete change in taste for me.
I've been really enjoying the Sportster, and then I made the mistake of dropping by my dealer last Thursday and, well, it was love at first sight...
2005 Softail Springer Classic.
I mean really, what's not to fall in love with?
And I'm enjoying the hell out of it.
But something had to go, and I just got the Sporty, so Alanui was it.
Thanks to all of you that came along for the ride, it was fun.
