Hello Everyone,

I ordered some new Screamin Eagle orange 10mm Phat spark plug wires like 2 months ago. They have been on back order. I called HD yesterday and they said that they were clearing and going out on the 18th of April. Anyone out there have these plug wires on order? Did you get them in the last few days?

I stopped by the dealer today to see if mine had come in yet. Nope.

Seems like they keep getting pushed out...

 

Weird. I stopped at the local dealer to get a set of the stock wires and all they had were the 10mm SE wires.

 

I live on the wrong side of the pond but ironically have some red ones on order from two weeks ago. Another 3 weeks to forecasted delivery. They seem in short supply?

I went to HD Dealer today and was told that the SE 10mm phat spark plug wires would not be in stock till July. Wow that sux. By then it will be 6 months waiting... Anyone know of aftermarket 10mm wires?

What I did with the 15 Street 750 was to buy two sets of SE wires for a Dyna. Threw away the two short pieces, pulled the stock wires off and took the boots off. Reamed the boots out to accept the 10 mm wires and installed.

I watched the new owner ride away with it last week. When the dealer asked it I wanted to switch the wires when I traded it in with the wires on the Street Rod I said no because I saw that H-D now had them in the parts book.

Dumb me. It looks like I will be riding away with skinny black wires for some time now. I'll have to park it behind bushes or something.

 

Hello Street Fans,

My HD Dealer called today and told me to come and pick up the 10mm Phat Spark Plugs. I plan on putting them on this weekend. Anyone know about the dielectric grease that Harley wants you to use on the boots? I would appreciate any advice.

Go get your plug wires if you have them on order.

 

Mine came in but unfortunately they ordered the wrong ones for an FXSB rather than an FXSE. Three weeks after re-ordering the correct ones also arrived today for me.
