I plan on upgrading the air filter on my Street 750. I know to get the most out of a filter upgrade is to get rid of the stock round air breather. But I really don't care for the open element style,or K&N drop-in replacement that's available for my bike. I was thinking that a scoop air breather from the Street Rod might work on the Street 750 by changing the brackets,but I'm unsure. If anyone has replaced their stock air breather with one from a SR 750,have there been any issues? My apologies if this has been covered already.

 

The Street Rod is pretty new, I doubt if anyone has tried this yet.

However, IMNSHO, I don't think the SR intake would look at all "right" on a Street.

Not to mention that it also is fairly restrictive and would most likely require far more modification than you realize.

Just my ¢.02, YMMV...

 

I thought that the SR intake would be more open and not as restrictive due to it having twin ports. I suppose it would be best to go with a K&N,because I really don't want to have to modify anything to get something to work or look out of place. Thanks for your input AKC!
