I think he is talking about his Street 750 and not the Street Rod, I think the Street 750 needs a tail bag.

Not with bags I already have on it the Street. Yes I could make new mounts but it would not blend in well IMO.

Work in progress

YEah the Street has a totally different rear fender setup then the Street-Rod.

My bags are just simple throw over bags... I prefer to just un-snap and rip if I can help it.

I've used this style throw over bag (the ones in the pic are new) for well over 100K miles. My last set look really tired but for $100 they were well worth the money and followed me to every bike I had until I got this new set and obviously the Connie has factory hard cases. (I know it's vain) but I couldn't throw the old ones on my Street-Rod. so faded and tattered, it was just time.

Jedz? Did you get new tires yet?
There is a deal nearby, 40% off tires.
One person told me he loves Avons, another told me Dunlop 402 and nothing else...

These people ride heavier bikes than we do though, and different style of riding...
The stock tires don't do wonders under hard breaking on dry pave, but on wet pave they are GREAT... I'm looking for something with lots of grip, cornering, etc and not be too hard for cruising down bumpy roads.

I have the Dunlop Road Smart 3's Sport touring ZR rated tires on and I'm coming up to 3K miles and they don't even look worn at all!!! Great for touring!!! I'm also running them on my concours14 and they are great tires!!!

Coming up to 12K miles!
