Fender eliminator XG750A
Hey team
So I received my fender eliminator kit in the mail from Tuff Side. Starting to make some cool stuff for the Street and Street-Rod, they reupholster seats too so I think I'll reach out and give them some business this winter when I get the seat redone for long jaunts.
Install was simple. 8 bolts total and some snipping of zip ties. Other then that it took me 15 minutes to get into the bike. FYI the rear fender is all steel! Cool BUT heavy...
Anyway pics:
i also have a new video on my YouTube channel:
Let me know your thoughts!
Best,

Standard D&D slip on. A buddy of mine gave me it for CHEAP($20). Off a R6 so it's in the same ball park flow wise. Much lighter vs the stock unit, which is a given it's a D&D, half the reason you run exhausts on sport bikes is to drop the weight.
I like the sound of the sport bike can, since the stock exhaust is total crap (small head pipes and a catylist the size of a foot ball under the right peg) I won't be dropping any kind of big coin on a "slip on muffler"... Hope they make a complete after market system soon that gives the rider the ability to customize the peg position. Also if it had proper diameter head pipes and a high flow cat I bet there is 10-15hp to be had... Probably drop 5-10lbs over a stock setup with the exhaust covers...
I've been asked twice since the fender chop and muffler... Is that a new Ducati???

Down the road I may be looking at getting my XG750 up to at least the HP of a Street Rod. The Street is a extra play thing .

Had a Bassani on mine it did not last long sounded like **** and way to loud. That one looks interesting. I have check the system head and all V&H makes for the flat tracker is not on the market only racers can get it.

I have a 3K mile trip planned coming up at the tail end of August and I will run the stock muffler, just in case Warranty issue #3 pops up thousands of miles from home...

They way exhaust pipe mounts on a XG750 you could make about any pipe of that type fit with out to much work.
While someday mine may go in a Flat Track style for now it is going Urban. Granddaughter will likely ride it.
I like the rear fender eliminator but it would not work with the bags on it right now
Solo seat is next.
Few people I know saw me riding the Street and gave me that WT heck look. It shocked them. This week I have to get the Fatboy side car cleaned up 9 year old grand daughter has a parade to ride in.
