Default Need : Sissy bar and Exhaust for Street Rod XG750A

Hi,

Does anyone know of Sissy bar and Exhaust for street rod 750. Ive been told by the dealer that since its a new bike, accessories are yet to be launched by H.D.

Does anyone know off after market stuff for Steet Rod.

Regards,

Sabari

There is pretty much nothing... Some guys have put slip-on mufflers on but the stock exhuast is horrid and I'm personally saving my pennies and buying a full system when one becomes available.

Sissy Bar? Like a rack? I'm trying to envision a XG750A with a sissy bar on it and I can't see how it would mount. My guess is they may make one, down the road.

Our bikes haven't even been on show room floors for 6 months yet so we all have to play the patience game for aftermarket. I'll likely keep mine relatively stock for now. If a new exhaust comes around and I see some modifications that will yield 100hp then I'll bite.... I hope to see a XG1000A down the road with a mono shock, Aluminum twin spar frame and radial brakes on the front... Pipe dreams really but I plan to keep my XG750A for 2 years (warranty is up) then plan to trade in.

If there isn't a new and improved Street-Rod by then (in a modest price range) I'll likely head back to Yamaha.

I just bought a 2018 XG750A and my dealer also informed me that there is no rack or sissy bar available which isn't good news because my lady insists on a backrest for safety on hole shots. HD has a really nice kit for the standard XG750 model. I'm either going to fabricate one once I get a good look under the seat and fender for potential mounting points, or wait to see if HD steps up or aftermarket becomes available. So for now it's going to be Velcro for the lady. :-)

I have a GSX650F with the same problem but managed to fabricate a slick backrest that mounts on the grab bar. But the XG750A has no grab bar and very few options for mounting points. I wish HD would stick to the design criteria that always had 2 mount points along side the seat.

without cutting bodywork or drilling plastic on the rear end i cannot see how either of these fit properly ??
i have had the whole rear end off mine to cut down the number plate and cannot see any “suitable” mounting points.

If you look under the rear seat which pops off, you will notice 4 bolts.
That is probably wear it will mount and secure.
The mounts will squeeze out from inbetween the seat and rear tail.

That's how i picture it.
I could be wrong.

I saw those bolts but the rear seat is only held on by one pop spring - any slight pressure upwards (sissy bar metal thickness) and the rear seat would fly off.
hope someone lets us know if it really fits.
