I have close to 100K miles on FZ's (FZ1 & FZ6) and for the money there is nothing cheaper for that grin factor. Allot better/ more fun bikes then my Street-Rod ever could be...

I feel they are similar to the Vrod in HD culture. When I’m riding I do so alone as well for the most part and it tends to be given the same view.
On the other hand when I’m splitting lanes I don’t take my hand off the bar to wave just because running one handed between cars would be scary to me.
I like that my Harley dealer (I imagine others as well) will give you full credit on trade to a higher model if you upgrade in I think 12 months.

I LOVE my Street Rod and the fact I won't see then everywhere I ride. It's a somewhat exclusive club.

After a dismal flat track season, it was interesting to see that HD's Ed Krawiec won a NHRA championship. His bike was based on the Street Rod 750, rather than the now discontinued V-Rod.

Hehehe... I love when when people point out stuff their clueless about. "The carbon fiber body" was based around the 750, not the motor buddy. Rules for NHRA V Twin is 1st and foremost, it must be a V-twin 2 valve pushrod motor.

The V&H motor is 155" monster V-Twin 350hp... Good try though.
FWIW, they look nothing like a 750 either. Maybe the gas tank is somewhat similar but it's a fake piece of carbon fiber, it holds no fuel.

Yes, loosely based on the street rod i would think. Have you heard that thing? It's pretty awesome.

Yes, I heard it run and I've heard the new S&S run too.. Honestly I think given this years over the S&S will come back and dominate V&H next year.

Can't blame Polaris for asking the best motor builder in the world to give them a hand, but when the pilot is wearing "Indian" racing leathers or anything with the Indian name it really pisses me off. Sorry, the S&S is an HD/Sportster platform.
Makes me wonder if HD ever offered to buy S&S? I hope they did and I hope S&S gave them the middle finger after watching what they did to Eric.

All my HD-riding buddies really like my XG750A, including the guys on my buddy's #2 Pro/Mod pit crew. It is odd, rare, unique, and interesting and sounds magnificent. A little heavy and a little stiff but a lot of bike for what I paid. Yamaha FZ-07 good bike but looks like some sort of kid's toy.

With Rinehart pipe, S&S Stealth, and custom Hooligan and VO2 FP3 maps from @V&HBryan at V&H it really rips - Like a different engine.

I have never experience the HD "snob" thing mentioned above whether riding my Road King, XG750A, or Yamaha SRX600,
