Nice looking ride! I could see one of these in my garage as a 2nd bike for those days when I'm feeling frisky.

Replaced the big bulky sprocket cover with a Free Spirits unit and a R&G radiator grille to actually protect the radiator and rid the bike of a few pounds and a more purposeful look. I hated the big plastic piece hanging off the front of the bike.

Sprocket cover:

Grille Guard:

Here are a few bit more proper pics showing the R&G radiator grille and how clean the bike looks without the huge plastic OEM radiator "guard".

Ordered up a custom built pair of Hagon 2810 adjustable damping rear shock.....all black. They are being built with a 15" eye to eye and the conventional way installing a divider in the reservoir. They normally have the adjuster/chrome rod in the down/upside down position. Truly a custom build. All for $225! I'll be gaining some lean angle and quickening the steering. I did the same thing to my XR1200 with Works shocks but that are out of business.

All the usual folks have rear shocks for the lower sitting Street.......but nothing for the higher riding/better handling Street Rod. Almost every manufacturer thought they were the same thing......nope. The Street 500/750 have an eye to eye measurement of 12.7". The Street Rod has an eye to eye measurement of 14". Only two manufacturers's even offered a 15" eye to eye shock. Hagon has experience with the Street Rod.

I also have a set of Dunlop Sportmax Q3+'s and Oberon foor pegs going on. Can't wait till spring!!!!

Updated pic with the S&S Stealth A/C kit installed.

Loves the backroads I bomb on. Next weekend it's a nice 6 hour ride down on N. Ky backroads.

I have a FP3 and a S&S Grand National slip-on on the way. The S&S unit is the only one that has a baffle included that actually quiets the can down.

How`s the bottom end torque?

Power output is similar to this in the garage:

But different than these in the garage:

The Revolution X watercooled motor in the XG750A likes to rev. It's sweet spot is between 4 & 7K RPM.

Again, since you`ve done all of this so far, how`s your bottom end torque? Never mind. You already answered my question.

The Street 750 engine has really surprised me. They way it handles the sidecar is impressive.
The Street Rod version must really be fun , they got more out of that version.

Really like the old XR so I've been looking at the XG and XG Street, I think thats the look HD was after when they came out with these bikes and looks like they pretty much nailed it...whats the difference in the Street and the XG other than price? I think the Street has a stage 1 upgrade?

By the way, Yes it does look a hell of a lot better with the OEM plastic off the cooler.

The differences are numerous. Better suspension pieces/more travel/lean angle, steeper rake on front end, higher compression, different cams, larger throttle body with dual ports, dual front disks, drag bars......etc.
