Seen there is a few options out there. What's a good one. Should she not think it's e vet gonna sound like her sportster did. Should I treat this like mine. Fuel pack and air cleaner too. Glad to see parts are cheap for these. Not like my bike. Lol. It came with the reach seat. One less thing to buy. 568 miles.

I had a Bassani on my 750 Street. To me it sounded like crap , just loud was all. It is laying on the bike room floor now next to the bad idea box. Until I hear something that sounds good the stock pipe stays on. I had it running with muffler off. A bit loud but did not sound bad.
The engine on the Street is a higher RPM so what worked on other Harley's may not work out so well on them.
Hope she enjoys the Street. The one I picked up has been a fun experience. It now has a sidecar on it.

There are a few slip on options but only one full exhaust as of this writing. The full exhaust is made by Stealth Pipes and starts at $900.

In regard to slip on's, I am personally running the S&S Grand National unit accompanied by the S&S Stealth A/C kit and V&H FuelPak 3 on my Street Rod. As with just about everything else S&S they are quality pieces and IMHO the slip on sounds great. I did leave the dB reducer in place. I also have reduced the warm idle down to 1100RPM as the stock tune has it at 1400-1500 for emissions reasons.
And you are correct. The Revolution motor will sound nothing like a Sporty.

When I picked up my XG500 I replaced the exhaust with the Two Bros Racing Comp-S Racing. Never looked back since. Love the way it sounds and looks.

I went with a Vance and Hines High Output - I dig it... but a lot of those things are a matter of taste. I also had to go back and get the 'quiet down a little' insert since my right ear was ringing. From sewing machine to ringing ears... worth the couple hundo in my opinion.
Did you ever pick anything up? Also, what did you do for the air intake? My muffler backfires when I back off the throttle. Service guy says 'doesn't hurt anything, but next go for a bigger air intake and then tune it.'
Not a lot of options for a 17 Street Rod - any suggestions?
