5000 mile MPG XG 500 report
Hello Street Fans,
Just had my 5000 mile service. After 2 days of riding about 100 miles each...
XG 500 = 66.25 miles per gallon.
65.55 miles per gallon (second day)
Thats about a range of 227.5 miles give or take.
How are your streets faring on the mpg?

My 15 750 Was getting 55 mpg at interstate speeds of 70 to 75 mpg. Didn't check when local riding. I expected the 17 Street Rod to do less but it gets 55 mpg on the interstate rides also. I'm going to check what it does on local roads now. Those roads are 55 mph speed limits.
On thing the Streets are great running around bikes.

I won an Street XG 500 in March.
Thought it was an '18 model but it was a '16 model that was used for drivers ED at the local college.
Still it was free.....
Checked when the lat oil change was done as it only had 487 miles.
Service rep looked it up and said it had repair on a cylinder gasket.
Mileage (oil change) was when they "fixed" the gasket.
Someone knew I won the bike and wanted to see it.
It was still stored at the dealership.
He bought it while still stored and I never even got to start it.
He took it for a ride and oil was spewing after a bit.
Took it back to the dealership and they "fixed" it again.
Another ride and more oil coming out.
More oil again.
Three tries and still spewing oil.
Not sure if it finally made it out of "repair".
Buyer tried to refuel but the key wouldn't open the lock.
Seems the dealership got two gas caps mixed and neither bike could get fuel until the correct cap was on the correct bike.
Glad I never took control of the bike.
Besides, I already had aan Ultra and a Sportster.
Didn't need three bikes.
