I was on the snap on truck today and saw the flier promoting the last version of software 18.2 and saw Harley software is part of the update. I have not updated my scanner in 2 years so its about time. I almost bit on it but the truck price retail is $695.00 for the adapter harness to the bike. I may get one in the future or when i see a used one that was traded in. My bike does not have abs or the security system options. I'm not sure if you can update parameters or its strictly "read only". If any one has one I would love to hear your input on it and what it does or does not due. Secondly, if it has the trouble shooter as well. My bike is still in the shop for a no start condition and my ego suffers a little when I could work on the damm thing my self.

Snap-on also has added Harley Davidson coverage to the software to cover all major systems with engine, ABS, hands-free, security, turn signal, hand control module, body controls, instrument, speedometer and tachometer on 2000 and newer motorcycles.

 

Are you sure that the only thing is does is show DTC codes? You can do thatwith out any scanner.
