Bought a new Street 500 last Friday. Because I bought a new bike, it's been raining like mad all week. I rode it into town today just because, and I stop to fill it up for the first time. Head back on to the highway, and the backlight and LCD part of the gauges go out. A few miles later it comes back on, along with the check engine light.

Bike runs great. But this guage issue, on a bike with 150 miles, has me worried. Anyone else have this issue? Anything I should mention when taking it in for service?

 

It should have stored a code. Bring it to the dealer and explain to them what happened. That's what the warranty is for.

 

It is under warranty get it in. Don't touch it. It is the first I have heard of Call them set it up you say it was working , then it was not.. Could be something simple like a wire it could be water damage. Let the warranty deal with it. Contary to whatyou read on the net HD is pretty good on warranty issues.
