Default New street rod XG and questions

hi all.
i am a long time member of the touring forum but just bought a new streetrod today as i also wanted something to “play on” as well as keeping my ultra glide. - test ride was great, and it seems to handle well.

i have ordered it with a few extras as i am too busy to fit them.
V&H competition muffler - hope it sounds loud.
a new set of biltwell bars (look a bit like hollywood bars with a brace on them) - to bring the grips nearer to me.

1. Are the things i have ordered ok ?
2. As its a canbus system, can i add led rear turn signals as i plan to add a tail tidy straight away ?

thanks all - appreciate the help.

Yes it is quiet here. I have a streetrod also.
So far I have just cleared the 500 mile mark and the stock exhaust is rumbling a lot better imo so I am sure the VH is going to be sweet. I also have thought about the change from stock but I am going to wait until I can do the whole stage 1 before I do, and I am also hoping for a full exhaust yet too.
No real help I know but at least it’s a response!
Enjoy the bike, I really like mine. It’s a lot of fun to ride.
I do wish for a way change the brake pedal but I am getting used to it.

If you can figure out how to attach it.
I am excited at least that H-D is putting out a few things and hopefully more to come. I am going to switch the grips, shifter pedal and foot pegs.
I am probably going to get rid of the rear fender and wait until I can go stage 1 after that.
I am scratching the hell out of my gas tank with my belt buckle. Probably going to have to get something to cover that up too.

Let me know how you like the new muffler. That model sounds good on YouTube but need a real review.

All
finally picked up the new streetrod - love it !!
still got my ultra but this thing handles superbly.

got some motocross bars fitted which are a better feel than the flat bars.
got the firebrand muffler fitted and its LOUD and great.
2 hours after picking it up from the dealers i ripped the licence plate bracket off - looks better now.
a few orange decals on the wheels to match the shocks.

for Ł6500 british pounds its an absolute bargain.

Have you figured out that brake pedal yet? I am waiting for a cure still.
These things are a lot of fun to throw around town.

I’m going to try new pegs first and see if that helps. It’s ok, it just could be better.
