not sure the checkpoint has a name. It’s a US Border Patrol point on Highway 94, which runs parallel to the border in East San Diego county. Great riding, and it leads you right to Barrett Junction (the ‘one beer’ stop in the video.

Great vid. I loved it. Kinda hit the nail on the head. Reminded me of an old man I once knew who loved his whiskey. After an all nighter when he was entering the house he figured the best defense was a good offense. As he came in the door he slammed it shut and proclaimed "all I want to hear is biscuits hitting the back of the oven". Well that didn't go over the way he envisioned it and she never made breakfast or any other meal for him till the day the divorce became final.
How many miles did you say you clock per year?
