Nice video....been to York factory tours many times....I recommend it!

From the looks of it, the bike is fully assembled at the factory. What the heck is dealer preparation fees for then? To add fluids and remove the plastic coating at most?

Finally it worked. Cool video. Thanks!

adjust handlebars, check all critical fasteners, etc.

there really shouldn't be dealer prep fees. the factory reimburses the dealer for dealer prep, so passing it on to the customer is just double dipping.

I'm 30 and I thought the same thing! Really interesting, but felt like I wanted to be able to slo motion it to see more of the details. Really cool video just the same!

Strongly recommend take the tour if you are in the area. If you know when you will be in York or just make a road trip to York, buy tickets and schedule a "steel toe tour". When I was working in a factory environment I took it all in as a learning thing. Interesting point is, all the scrap metal cut from parts goes in the basement to be recycled and used again in the manufacturing process. Our guide intentional delayed our tour to observe the line after the workers came back from lunch. Just a super tour.

Nice. I worked on a GM assembly line many many (many many many) years ago. Manufacturing processes are something to watch.

I designed automotive assembly tooling for 40 years, this video brings back fond memories!

I'm headed out there in the beginning of May for a tour. Our company is a MHSNJ member so we get discounts for the tour, and of course company picks up travel costs to/from & food, etc. Double win. Thanks for the video - very exciting stuff especially having an engineering background.
