Some more updates, ...
Sorry, I don't come around here very often & didn't even notice that there were questions.
The fairing is an old mid-80's unit with the OE curved flat arm brackets.
I had to cut, weld, & fab up the flat arm brackets to fit on to a set of Memphis Shades mounts. I made a couple small round adaptors from the MS mounts to fit the flat arm locations.
I did this back in early 2006, ..., before the big fairing craze took off.
I was parked behind J&P in Sturgis that year & the guys from Memphis Shades display, which was right there behind J&P too, ..., came over to check it out.
I did it as a quick-attach, in thought that I'd remove it occasionally.
Never have.
The bags are quick-attach with 'ghost brackets', & of course the tour-pak is quick-attach too. Or quick-detach, however you wanna go, ...
I'm stuck with the ThunderHeader, ..., it works.
The Porker upswept & the Bassani sounded nice, ..., but the TH works.
I loved the Porker upswept with the Meg's cones, they had a sound all their own.
But I couldn't keep them with the addition of the hard bags.
Someday, stretched bags & rear fender, ..., maybe, ...
