Y'all, I'm sorry......but I don't check this thread much, so I didn't know it was coming through the St Louis area. It appears there are plans now, thanks to Hdbiker1450 and HC. I guesss I got other stuff to do besides check every thread that comes up.......and to tell you the truth, I didn't think I would ever get this close to the Mascot anyway.

Alright everybody......the mascot has made it to Missouri, and is headed west.

Thanks to hd1450 (and his lovely wife), not to mention hdwg & hc......without them it wouldn't have made it this far. Thanks for cwilks for helping getting everyone hooked up in St Louis, and for ecvjohn making it also.

Nice meeting all you folks.........now I'm off to do the "date" thing with the little lady......as some of you already know, its our anniversary.

The entire next week is open for me (I'm on "Vacation Shutdown" from work [sm=happybounce.gif]) so let me know what the plans are to get the Mascot over to FXSTI Guy.

Speaking of that, what's your schedule like FXSTI Guy?

 

I couldrideeast as early as next friday (8/10) but I need a little lead time to letthe bossknow I'm takingoff...it'll be no problem...I got VaCa coming...I'd like to lay up a day or two in Newton to see the relatives and what-not and then head back west...hopefully with the Mascot in hand. I'm assuming it's still in St. Louis at this point so I planned to keep a watch on this thread (and any others) to stay up on it's progress...PM me if you confirm it's wherebouts or you're able toget your hands on it...by the way, that's awickedlookin' V-Rod you got Eazy...I'm lookin' forward to seeing it in person!

 

I will have the Mascot in Topeka tomorrow afternoon. I will coordinate with Big Dog to see when he wants to run to Salina. I don't see a reason why we can't do it sometime during the week, but of course job schedules come first.

You're planning on going how far?? We DO have somebody in between us ya know!! Eazy is near Salina. I had thought about passing it off to him in Salina, and then he can head west from there. It's up to you tho

 

Here's what I have so far, someone correct me if I'm wrong. New2Harley and(hopefully)/or Big Dog and I will meet up sometime this next week in Salina or Topekato pass the Mascot from them to me. I will meet up with FXSTI Guy Friday in his and my hometownto pass the Mascot to him. The Mascot will then be heading to Denver with FXSTI Guyearly the following week to be passed on.

Sounds like a good plan to keep it moving. West Coast, here it comes!
