Well "Teek" has the Mascot now and is on the way eastward.
He said something about heading to Durango, Colorado. If there is ANYBODY in the area that can facilitate it's movement eastward from there, now would be a good time to make plans to meet him there by weeks end.

If the mascot want to put up for the winter my place in Central Ohio is available, but I presume the mascot would rather head south for the winter like all the snowbirds for continued riding.

Next time somebody takes a pic of the mascot, how about a close-up so we can see the sigs?

The Mascot is currently in Sedona, AZ as of 08:10 am Arizona time. I'll take it to the Grand Canyon either today or tomorrow, depending on how much time I make, and how much time I take (both me and the Mascot are on vacation now). Then I go to Durango, CO. After that I go to Dodge City, KS. I'll get the Hell out of Dodge and take it to Amarillo, possibly Palo Duro Canyons. Then I'll head home to DFW.

In Yuma I had a room with a view of a vacant sand lot...right now I have a room with a view of some gorgeous mountains and cliffs where I'll be riding today, as well as FREE INTERNET! I'm starting to like "Arid-zone-a". Hell, I even liked the desert @ 105 in the shade. Of course there was no shade. As long as I had plenty of water and the bike kept moving, I'm cool with it (cool being a figure of speech). Anyway, I have use of the computer in the motel lobby but no way to download pics. This is the only pic in existence of the Mascot in my hands right now, though.

I'll see what I can do about the signature thing. It won't be during a handoff, though.

Let's get it moving. I am currently in Florida, Ft. Lauderdale-Miami area, until June. Will be glad to meet the mascot and move it along.

Ride Safe.

I'm baaaaaaack!!!!!!

The Mascot is now in Euless, TX...I'll get in touch with pr_capone in Wichita, KS...he wants it, and according to the weather probably have at least two weeks before it starts getting cold up there. If necessary I'll even help him move it down south again, but he deserves it, I think. Today I rode straight through from Dodge City, KS to DFW in a lot of that crappy rain. It was going to be a joke, but because of the rain, I really couldn't wait to "get the Hell outta Dodge"! It took me 8.5 hours and I'm not totally sure on the mileage. Will post pics as soon as I get coordinated with my camera. I just spent over 3,000 miles and entered seven states...on a SPORTSTER!!!!

Well, I went to Lawton to ride with the likes of YOU!!! Maybe we can hook up again to transport the Mascot? If I get it to pr_capone, I'm wondering if you can help maybe bring it back south? I don't want it stuck up north but Wichita's not getting freezing precipitation just yet. Highs in the upper 60's and lows in the low 40's. Still great weather! Not a lot of pics, but...

This is where me and Andy (Ragtyme) hooked up. Sunday so they were closed.

A view from the parking lot. Yes, Yuma looks like this normally!

I-8 view of the Sand Dunes in California right outside Yuma.

A nice twisty section of mountain road

Here I am at the Grand Canyon

And lastly, but not leastly...the best closeup I could muster under the circumstances of the front side of the Mascot.

Many more pics...if you would like to see them...I hope this link works...
