I messaged voudoujoe to see if he has already made plans for an xfer. If not maybe I can meet up with him in a place of his choosing or a group of us can meet up in Richmond since that seems to be pretty central to those interested in moving the Mascot.
I was wondering if the Mascot has ever traveled the BRP? It is one of the best rides in the country. It would be a shame for the Mascot to have come so close and not get to ride the parkway.

This is a crazy thread to follow! It's clear that the Mascot is coming right thru my back yard and I don't want to miss it!
Looks nopetrol can get it to the Baltimore area from Oldiron/Longhair.
There's a bunch of people who've chimed in to carry it from MD into VA including: voudoujoe (me), jaymiller5, 8541HOG, inthechateau, 20FXT06.
The several from VA south in some manner, including: EasternSP, fwb35 and mike_m.
I'm not sure the protocol to arrange, so I'm just going to send some group PMs to see if we can't organize a pick up from nopetrol and deliver to someone (or multiple) in VA.

nopetrol is working on getting he Mascot out of NJ this weekend
Stage 2: NJ ==> Baltimore MD area
voudoujoe is working on a meeting in the Baltimore area with nopetrol, jaymiller5, inthechateau, 20FXT06 and Airborne350G (8541hog stepped back). Schedule not yet clear.
Here are my thoughts for further planning; your feedback is much appreciated:
Stage 3: Baltimore MD area ==> Richmond VA area
voudoujoe hooks up with Barry Ranney, fwb35, EasternSP in Fredricksburg VA and do a group ride to bring the Mascot into the Richmond VA area to meet Mike_M and RIPSAW from Chesapeake VA area, 92FLHS from Troutville VA and maybe FatBob11FXDF from WV
Stage 4: Chesapeake VA ==> Charlotte NC / Fayetteville NC area
Mike_M from Chesapeake VA carries the Mascot into the Charlotte NC / Fayetteville NC area to meet Midgitfire, PnDegc, dynawideglider, NC D'LUXE
Stage 4a: Fayetteville NC ==> Atlanta GA area
Yet to be decided:
Midgitfire hands over to Rog48 or Sammy1200N from the Atlanta GA area
Stage 5: Atlanta GA area ==> border GA/FL
Rog 48 hands over to Sammy1200N in Atlanta GA
Sammy 1200N meets Sefferdog at the GA/FL border
Stage 6: Ocala FL area ==> Palm Bay FL area
Sefferdog and Lyttuch meet halfway Orlando FL area?
Lyttuch takes the Mascot further South and arranges a meet in the Palm Bay FL area with Big Gator and flagirl
Stage 7: Palm Bay FL area ==> Tampa FL area
delivery by: flagirl and/or Big Gator, taker is HarleyTrish or flslowryder
Stage 8: Tampa FL area ==> Ocala FL area
delivery by HarleyTrish or flslowryder; taker is Sefferdog
Stage 9: Ocala area ==>Tallahassee area
delivery by Sefferdog, taker is bcane98
Stage 10: Tallahasse FL area ==> Mobile FL area
Possible meeting with bcane 98 and Hawkdriver75, PktChg and j o r d a nball33 from AL
delivery by bcane98, taker is CurtisO
Stage 11: Mobile FL area ==> Baton Rouge A area

1. haven't heard from nopetrol yet, but as far as I'm concerned, this weekend is fine to p/u from PA area. I will get consensus of MD riders, but really need to connect w/ nopetrol
2. I have heard from Md riders: jaymiller5. That's it so far. Hoping to hear from inthechateau, 20FXT06 (and any other interested MD riders, just PM me)
3. I have heard form VA riders: fwb35, EasternSP and 92FLHS. There's also Barry Ranney in that area? Have requested that one VA rider take charge of organizing that group for pick-up and delivery Shouth. Looks like René has ideas for a drop in Richmond.
4. Airborne350G ... you are in VA, but I'm not sure where. Let me know if you would prefer to be part of the PA-VA route or the VA-South route. If it's VA-South, you might want to connect with the lead from #3, above. ***** Look like Airborne might be riding with the guys from MD *****

lotsa work staying on top of things and putting it all down in a logical way.
hopefully the Mascot will get out of the garage this Sunday as promised by sclonghair.
