I just bundled up - no heated gear. I'm not as smart as Mr. Wiz.

But it was comfortable - 47 degrees when we left this morning and it got up to 62 this afternoon. A great day for a ride.

I hear you, but up here, its getting into the lower 30's.....and anymore that's just too cold, even if I had heated gear. Imho, when you have to bundle up it just takes most of the fun out of riding. Your body stiffens up, and I believe it effects your reaction times too......plus for me its just uncomfortable.

I rode 40 minutes to work this morning at 37 degrees. Everything was good except for my hands. I would not have been able to do that for more than an hour. My hands were pretty uncomfortable by the time I arrived. I just don't think that there is a viable solution in the 30's other than heated gear.

René - I will send you route details for my trip to the Chattanooga hand-off.

Guys, I need to change the plans. My son is sick. I let Rog know so he and I aren't doing the transfer today. My trip to Florida will be postponed. Rog48 still has the mascot.
