Target Fixation on a curb. I panicked and the rear brake locked, bike slid out to the right, i fell off left. 6 hrs at the hospital and released, lucky all I got a pulled muscle in my neck and road rash on my back.

 

Really glad that you're not seriously injured! Gotta say it though, your pictures are a good testament to the value of a helmet.

 

Ill be fine. I took all last week off work but i went back yesterday, just healing the road rash.

 

Helmet did its job, I was dazed for about an hr and a half with scattered memories. I dont remember the impact, just beginning of falling then darkness, then 3 guys standing over me helping me up. I dont remember calling my wife telling her i crashed. I dont remember the police or paramedics or when my wife arrived onsite. Ill make a review 5 star rating for the Bell Rogue Helmet for sure. Yes the faceguard flew off but its a decorative not protective piece anyway.

 

Im headed north and south texas soon if anyone wants to meet up for the mascot.

June 30- July 2 I will be in Bonham TX (NE of Dallas)
