Default Stage 4 103se starting issue

I have an 09 RK with a stage 4 se kit. It runs great. The decompression releases are manual. The releases seem to be working, but the bike is hard to start. Even warmed up it is hard to start sometimes. I suspect it to be a tuning issue (has SE Pro tuner). Just curious of anyones idea of the possible problem.

We're going to need more info
What cam?
What intake
What exhaust?
What throttlebody?
Was the bike tuned professionally?
Was the bike tuned by yourself?
Can you post your map for us to look at?

It has 259E cams and HD SE intake and heads. I believe the throttle body is a SE upgrade. It has VH power duals with twin slash ovals. I did not do the tune. It as done by HD dealer before I purchased the bike. I got the SE pro tuner with the bike. I assume I can download the map that is currently installed?

when you say hard to start, do you mean it cranks over fine just doesn't start or do you mean it turns over slowly like a weak battery before it fires off?

Yes, good point! It has a hard time turning over, like a weak battery. Seems like it gets hung between a stroke a lot.

If you have the cables to the SEPST, I can give you somethings to look at. If canned map I have had good luck removing 2 points from the Cranking fuel table top to bottom. If it has 14.6 change it to 12.6. I would also lower the timing in the top right of the spark tables in the 750 and 1000 rpm row and 80-90-100 column 2 degrees even if it is 0 already. Wouldn't go any lower than -2 in those rows. I have seen some maps with as much as 10 degrees there. If you have a way to put new map on would be glad to send you one. It will work much better than a canned map. If interested just send me a PM with your bike info and your email. Very difficult to put on forum.

That would be awesome. I have the cable and was going to try the smart tune, but a proven map would be better (I think)! I am sure the dealer tune is more worried about emmisions that performance.
