Hello - I'm a new member and appreciate you taking the time to help with my issue.

I have a 2007 Sportster 883. It has a delay in starting that has become progressively worse over the last few weeks...taking up to 30+ seconds to start after holding the starter button. No turnover & no clicking sounds during that 30 seconds. Any ideas?

Hi - first be sure all your battery cable connections are good. If a connection gets loose, it will get progressively worse.
If all your cable connections are good, you would want to check the starter relay as it's a quick easy check.
Check your starter connections and if all looks good you may want to do a resistance test of the switch. I have seen the switches develop resistance and they will test all over the board every time you hit them. If you don't have one, pick up an electrical diagnostic manual for the bike and you will better understand all the circuits.
