Default P0113 IAT sensor open/hi

Hi my 2012 Limited has been producing this code off and on for 10,000 km. Had the TMAP replaced and no code for 2000 km and now its back again. Any ideas on what else to try?

Yes - check the wiring connection - check that the wires aren't broken in the insulation right at the connector. The code means that there is a problem in the circuit. The sensor is in the circuit.

If you had map and IAT codes, that would be the common ground. Since you have only an IAT code, it will be the signal wire to the sensor you must look at.

The way that circuit is constructed, high codes mean an open or a resistance so high the majority of the signal voltage is returning to the analog to digital converter inside the ECM rather than going through the resistor of the sensor to ground.
