I need help with diagnosing my no spark problem. Bike is a carbed 05 heritage.

My problem is the bike was running fine then pulled the tank and guards off to paint put them, put back on bike fired up and ran really rough for 10min or so then died completely. Checked spark plugs for spark, was none

swapped the coil,plugs,leads, and the ignition module off a bike that is running still no spark.

CPS is giving a pulse to the ignition module but no pulse is comming out of the IM to AB terminals of the coil therefore no spark.

CKP sensor is putting out an AC voltage so I assume is ok.

Can anyone shed some light on what would be stopping the signal leaving the IM?

 

Pull the tank and check your wiring, you may have pinched one during the tank installation.

 

Yep in the process of checking the loom now. Just seems weird that it ran after I installed the tanks for 10min and just slowly ran worse until the spark died completely
