DLC on 2000 Heritage

Hi, I have a 2000 Heritage Springer, carbd. The 4 pin DLC connector data pin is what I'm questioning. What protocol does it use ? It's not CAN, I suspect it's not J1850, but I'm, not sure. Does anyone know what it is ? Supposedly has Tach and Speedo information. Can it be read by an Android app?
