Default PV autotune help

When in auto tune , do you have to exit and export the tune any time you stop or does it just start from where you left off.
for instance if I take off for 30 minutes and decide to stop for a cup of joe . if I turn the bike off is all lost if not exported before the key is turned off.
do I have to -exit-export learned-save to a slot-flash, and then re-enable autotune to continue.
instructions makes it sound like you cant turn key off while in AT.
Anyone have a point by point guide to follow for the disadvantaged.
just don't want to F anything up....

Before you turn the bike off, just stop data log. When you start it back up, go through the same process to get back to the auto tune session and then select start data log. When you're done, that's when you stop data log and export learned.
If you open WinPV on your computer and click on help, there's most if not all the information you'll need.
