O-Ring size...fuel check valve.

You Sir, are exactly right. I purchased two 700 o ring kits (one metric, one standard) from Amazon for $20 -- I figured FOR SURE that one of them would fit the fuel line (male end) o ring...nope. None of them were thick enough (TWSS). 1400 o rings and not one fits. I'm guessing that the Harbor Freight kit does not include the right o ring either.
Best answer (and I have not purchased yet) seems to be to pay $14.99 for the kit of 5 o rings from J & P cycles -- although I simply cannot believe I'm about to pay $14.99 for five tiny o rings.
And what if replacing that o ring doesn't solve the problem? What if it's one of the upper (of two o rings) on the check valve attached to the tank. I suppose I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I know of a guy that spent $50 for a set of 5 oil pump O rings for an old Suzuki T500 and the pump still leaks. You got off light.

O ring kit purchased
I'm not a bike rider. My girl, is and I am trying to get her bike working for her. I got an o ring kit from ebay. The o ring in the male half is what I am having issue's installing. I have looked for video's etc. and am not finding anything. I watched a video where the guy used the fuel tool to replace the upper 2 o rings, if after I do the male o ring it's still leaking I guess I need to spend $100 and get that tool. I'm hoping the bottom o ring is the only issue, but I can't get that o ring to go inside the housing. It acts like it's to big, but the guy said it's the right one and that he used to assemble these all the time in production. Do you need something to depress the pin in and then install the o ring? It's getting frustrating. Thanks for any advice.

Harbor Freight does have it
I bought the "Vinton O-Ring assortment" Item #67525 for $9.99 which I read is a set that has odd size O-rings for valves, hoses, regulators and cylinder necks. and I figured that it would have the one for the fuel line quick connect. O-ring A110 in the kit, size 9.19 X 2.62 fit perfectly! The quick connect I put it into is on a 2008 FLHTP Electra Glide Police retired from the force but not the road. Now my wife can go back to riding her bike.

I know it’s an old tread but just has the same issue on my 2008 sporty.
the O rings size that I’ve put in are
3/8” diameter by 1/16” thickness for the bottom one
1/2” diameter by 1/16” thickness for the top one
bottom is the one that hold the little ?tube, valve? With the spring and top on is literally half way in where the male comes and seal into
