Default Bike dying

Hello, I am new here, and am seeking advice on my 03' Anniversary Fatboy that is fuel injected with about 41,000 miles on it. What happens is when I slow down for red light or to turn my bike will die just for a couple of seconds and then catch back up, or it my die and i have to pull over. At this point I have to wait 2 to 4 minutes before it will start back up, if i try starting it right away it will just not start and you can smell a real rich fuel small. It will do this say 3 times on a 200 mile run. I've been told it may be my IAC, any thoughts ?

Wellcome to the Forum and congrats on your first post.

Somebody told you it might be your IAC...so did you try cleaning it?

My first thought is the IAC being dirty, especially if it's never been cleaned.

Could be an engine temp or intake air temp sensor going/gone bad. You would notice a bit less power and less response from the throttle due to rich running.

I thought that there was an issue with 2003 with the main circuit breaker. I think it originally came with a 40 amp maxi-fuse. The fix was to replace it with a 50 amp circuit breaker. Do some googling. Other possibilities would be the relay under the seat, or possibly the ignition switch. My money is on the main circuit breaker though.
