Default My14-17 calibration recall

Took bike in for recall and was told it returns bike to the original HD tune. Have to pay $300 to have it re-tuned. WTH? Shouldn't Harley pay that since its their fault the bike is hard starting?

No.. If the bike was professionally tuned. It's the fault of the person doing the tuner to fix.. Hard starting is the responsibility of the person doing the tune unless there is something else wrong with the build / bike.. Like low fuel pressure..

Welcome to the forum.
You'll find that if you give more info you're more likely to get better answers.
Besides which recall- what year and model, what tuner and other mods do you have?
What was done to fix the starting problem?

Is this something to do with the 110 engines that the likes of Mchad had problems with.

Something to do with reducing the timing up in the 100 kpa/750 rpm corner of the table? Did the config change from a 617 to 621 or something like that?
