High Idle After Coil/Ignition Relocation
Hi All,
I recently relocated my coil and ignition on my 2016 Sportster 48. Everything was done step by step and had no problems whatsoever until I turned on the bike. It now idles between 1800-2200 and RPM's stay up when downshifting.
I ran diagnostics and got P0507 which is Idle Air Control System RPM Higher Than Expected. I double checked all my throttle harnesses and they're secure.
What could be the problem? I see some forums saying vacuum leaks, but where would that occur?
Thanks for the input!

not saying this is it but:
the factory just does not throw the harness or wiring on to see if it sticks. when you alter location, you could induce EMF into adjacent wiring which could screw with the data and ecu. ecu are actually stupid, if the data is not what it expects to see, they can not second guess it.
are your high tension wires running parallel to any wiring?
