Calibrate Your Speedometer, Using the Power Visions Tuner
I started noticing a difference in my throttle position in relation to my speed, after I installed my tuner. I just figured that it was because I had more more power, and thus, needed less throttle. But, at the same time, I noticed that more cars were riding my butt. So, yesterday, I mounted my iPhone to my bike, and opened an app called Speedbox. I set my cruise control to 75, but GPS was telling me that I was actually going 70. Now, I figured that my new tuner was to blame, so I Googled a fix. To my surprise, there's not a lot of info out there, in regards to calibrating your speedometer, using a Power Visions tuner. There's no dedicated YouTube videos, and the only solution I found, was on a Roadglide forum. There's lots of mention here, but I didn't see any solutions, and, all of the mentions were old. So, I will do my best to explain what I found, and, how I fixed it.
1.) Divide the speed shown on your speedo, by your actual speed (75/70, in my case = 1.07)
2.) Plug your PV into the port on your bike
3.) Turn your ignition to run, but don't start it
4.) Select the Quick Tune button, and go to "CONFIGURE"
5.) Under configure, you'll see a box marked "VSS" with a 4 digit number in it. You're going to want to multiply that number, by the number that you've calculated (my case it was 2153 x 1.07)
6.) With your results, you're going to now change that VSS number to the new number that is your multiplication result.
7.) follow the instructions on your Power Visions from there.
I hope this hasn't already been explained here a hundred times, and I've just missed it.
For me, the fix worked perfectly. I checked again today, and the two results were in sink. Problem solved!
The only video I found, that may help a little was this one:

Man I have wanted to calibrate the speedo on my 2010 UC since day one. It has always read about 3 mph slow on the highway. I already have a Super Tuner Pro that allows me to get the bike to run the way I want it to but doesn't have any speedo adjustment capability.
Does anyone know of a way to calibrate the speedo on that bike without having to buy another expensive tuner?
