Question Will Stage 1 air cleaner make a difference ?

I run Rinehart Slimline duals with 4" Rinehart slipons .
I run a K&N air filter in a stock box . I'm running a
V&H Fuelpak . If I change the breather to a Stage 1
breather & recalibrate the Fuelpak will I be able to
feel a power difference ? I know a dynotune is better,
but I just don't have the cash right now . I guess my
question is will I have enough of a power increase to
justify the cost of the air cleaner or am I just as well
off like it is ? It just doesn't feel right 2-up & packed
on a trip , especially on a grade .

do it, you will notice.
imagine it this way,,,,try to run around your house one time with your right hand covering your nose and mouth,,,,,,the go around again without your air inlet covered up. if you have done the pipes, but not the a/c, you have not felt the true potential of your upgrade, because you have been restricting it's ability to beath.

You've replaced the A/C element with a less restrictive K&N so just leave the cover
off and run it - I doubt that you'll notice any difference with a pretty much stock bike.

Do it you will notice.......a high flow filter in the stock box is no comparison to a true high flow airbox assembly.....there are very good reasons why they are part of the stage 1 upgrades, and that you continue to use one on the larger and more power producing mods.

I replaced my mufflers first for sound. Then the stage one air cleaner and noticed a bump in performance.Lots of decel pop.Got a FP3 tuner and noticed another bump in performance.Noticeble but not a night and day difference. The FP3 tuner got rid of most of the decel pop and bike runs really smooth.I just now got back from a day of riding and thought I would try the autotune feature. I’m impressed with the results. I thought it ran great before,It just runs smoother and smoother and another noticeable bump in power.Mostly low end and mid range.Thats my story.

Thanks . I run what I would call the second generation Fuelpak .
I've been wondering if the FP3 might be better .
