Any idea's as to why my 09 Road King will not start right up when warm ? Seems whenever i restart after it's run for awhile that it just turns over without firing up. Takes several tries for it to start.
Thanks for any idea's you can provide.
What tuner and what level of calibration are you using?
It's fuel or air. You can add air w/ IAC crank steps or take away some fuel with cranking fuel. My educated guess is you are rich since you didn't mention it backfiring through TB.

I have the V&H Fuelpak Map # 2527 if that helps. Problem is intermittent , no backfiring .
Not real familiar with that tuner. I would look how to take away cranking fuel or give it more air at the temp you are having problems with. Best of luck.
I had the same issue with my 09 heritage. Would start fine cold, however after the engine warmed up it was a hard start. It ended up being the compensator

Uh, …
although that is a common occurrence, the specific circumstances have to be examined and scrutinized.

I am with hrdtail78 (who BTW knows a lot more about tuning then I.)
Based on what is posted it s an air/fuel ratio problem at a specific temp.
TIFWIW.
