Holds back under acceleration between 2000 and 3000 RPM in first three gears only.

 

 

As hard as it is to diagnose a running problem over the internet, providing as little information as possible only makes it more difficult. Stuff like mileage, mods, recent work done and anything else you can think of to describe how and when the problem happens will help to figure it out.

 

If it live and then takes off its got to be a coil. Grab a spray bottle with water and just spray it on your exhaust pipes with the bike running whichever pipe doesn't evaporate the water quickly will tell you which cylinder isn't firing this replacing the necessary coil.

 

More info on the misfire between 2000 and 3000 rpm. 2014 103cu stock motor. 3" slip on V&H, std baffles, high flow air intake. FP3 fuelpack. Not convinced it's an ignition problem as revs perfectly all the way up in 4th 5th and 6th gears. Have tried multiple different maps using the FP3, have also ridden 250 miles in Autotune. More info, have managed to reduce but not eliminate the problem by editing the Air/Fuel table to make it slightly richer at the bottom end of the MAP range, between 2 & 3K RPM.

 

Further to above, have now changed plugs, leads and coil, no change to problem.
