inherited a 77flh complete frame engine drivetrain rest of bike in boxes had electronic ign module inside cam cover but was corroded beyond use , bike sat in barn for 15yrs, changed over to points and finally got engine to turn over has a s&s carb which im not familiar with, fires out rear cyl, front cyl has spark and compression but wont fire on cyl 1 any ideas Thanks Art

 

forgot to mention engine was seized soaked cyl's with trans fluid and got it to turn over ok only have 50psi comp add oli to cyls have 100psi suspect piston ring issue

 

50 lbs is pretty weak.
Shortcut, - run it till warm
fill cylinder with marvel mystery oil.
sit overnight.
Pull plug crank over to get it out.
add MM 3 OZ per gallon in gas.
run it.

 

well mr. 79 you did your own diagnostics. probably stuck rings. the only thing i can suggest is to used some aero-kroil in the jugs and hopefully it may loosen them, but best just to pull them for a look-see.
