Bought a use 2009 Road King. The previous owner had a stage one kit installed and rineharts exhaust put on and also gave me SE super tuner pro that is paired to the bike. Is there another tuner that I would be able to use other than the SE so I am not locked to going to the dealer anytime I want to change something. Or am i locked to the SE tuner.

Yes, you can use another tuner. I know the Powervision will work and most likely the TTS. U should be able to use any tuner you choose.

Most tuners are locked to the ecm so they can't be used on multiple bikes, but the ecm can be used with different tuners.

Cables- either a 4 pin or 6 pin cable to match the connector on your bike:

Check the fitment tab on the links to confirm the correct cable kit for your bike. I believe it is the 4 pin cable.

 

2009 is 4 pin.
