Sportster shut off, won’t restart.
I have a 2015 Sportster 883 Iron with 1,900 miles on it. Never even been wet as I live out in the desert. Was running great, just shut off at pretty much wide open throttle in second gear. Won’t restart. Plenty of battery, (new), spark, fuel pump primes, injectors not firing. Plugs are bone dry. Codes PO122=TPS1, PO261=front injector open low, PO264=rear injector open high. I pulled the throttle position sensor and it seems smooth and linear from 1.9 to 8.4 ohms impedance. Scratching head. Any ideas?

that young, shouldn't have issues. try re-seating the electrical plugs. check fusing. if it has spark then it probably is getting crank position sensor info.
do you have a security system, it usually kills the fuel but typically the pump.
turn machine on and check for 12vdc at the injector, if not there, trace back to power source, if there trace to ecm as it grounds out the injector to make it fire.

Hello Gentlemen,
nevil and busters thanks for replying. Sorry if I wasn’t clear, yes the bike cranks. I have 12.6 volts of battery, plenty of strong spark and the fuel pump primes with pressure of around 60lbs. The throttle position code was present along with front injector open low and rear injector open high. I checked all of the fuses, relays and ground wires and couldn’t find a problem. The only thing not happening is the injectorsarent pulsing. I’ve got 8.4 volts at the injector plug and a drop to 6.9 to 7.1 volts at the injector plug when I hit the starter button. According to the electronics service manual the injector harness may not be receiving the additional 5 volt reference signal from the TPS back through the ECM. Even though the TPS checks out in the ohms impedance range the manual says to replace the TPS because it isn’t resetting the code. I picked up a new one I will install tomorrow morning. If that does not work the local service manager feels confident the ECM took a dump. Thanks for your help and wish me luck.
