ION sense circuitry started with the Delphi ECM, 2000 and newer Softail injected, 2002 and newer Touring injected.
Here's the stage 1 timing map, close as I could find to stock.
the MM does not have knock, that started with Delphi, you might try to find some old SERT documents online that would have the stage one timing maps in them, a lot of the older files might have timing maps that would be good for you, but you'd still have to try to convert them somehow,,,,,then you are bike to the pc3 adjustments of flash tune with Techno Research or the S&S ecm.

As luck would have it, my bike does have a Stage I ECM flash after all, confirmed by the original owner who forgot to mention it on the list of upgrades he provided at time of purchase.
RIGITTHUMPER: Just confirming that this map is for a 2000 EFI TC 88 with Stage I flash. If so, it's EXACTLY what I need!
stock timing or stage one timing is not going to help you with the mods you have, your timing needs to be dialed in in a different way, more displacement and more comp need different advance rates and amounts, you ight try looking for stage 3 or 4 timinng maps from newer models.

Thanks Marco understood and agreed. I need this map so I have a reference point for tuning with my piggyback PCIII. I want to know where my timing is to begin with before adding more with the PCIII and logging the effect, watching out of course for detonation.
Once I get this overheating cylinder under control and have then engine fully broken in per S & S guidelines, then it will go in for round two on the dyno to dial-in the tune.
