Interesting..only $322 here. Probably shipping. However, your dealer wants $400 to drop it in. http://www.surdyke.com/PartsMain.asp...me=fuel%20pump

I was told the fuel pump assembly and the sending unit were sold separately. Not as a whole unit. Sending unit was being priced around 250.00.

Either way, the used one will be here next week. According to the seller, it came from a working bike and is in good working condition.

Where's can you get a good deal on fuel injectors ?

If $$ are a concern, Take yours and remove them. Get a plastic pipe cap or short piece of hose that is snug over the inlet end. There is a small screen that is reversible you can pull out but first since the Harley injector is brass and snug, leave it in. Take a can of carb cleaner with a straw pipe nozzle. Drill a small hole for it in the cap. Now get a box that you can spray into. Set your injector on a box and with a 12 volt supply (I use an old battery charger that put out even when not connected) Clip it to injector. Hit the spray. You will tell if the spray is even. I rebuild about two engines a year (automotive) I check all my injectors. Rarely are they bad. I always get the eBay overhaul kits that come with the seals and new filter) I have opened up engines that have set for years and the injectors and system is always full of fuel. It is totaly sealed unlike a carb system. Search youtub.
You will see the system I use.

Thanks for all your help guys!

Got it running today. Sounds great but doesn't handle well. Has low speed wobble issues. I've taken it up to about 30mph but because of the handling issue I didn't want to push it. This is my first time riding a trike so I'm really not sure what to expect. I do think it should handle better then it is.

Any threads on here about front end wobble on softail trikes? Couldn't seem to find anything.

check basics. Proper tire pressures, no loose spokes.

Most wobbles are imbalanced tire or suspension settings.

If tires sat in same position for years they could have issues.
