You have a wire getting pinched by the handle bars, trees, nacelle or combination. Give all the moving pinch areas a good look.

I've done that. Pulled headlight and tank, checked all connections. Also checked juice at kill switch and coil, has power where ever the bars are.

Broken wire on backbone or harness where it moves with bars connecting to backbone. Will be inside sheathing most likely.

The engine is either killed because one of the wires to the kill switch is defective, or another wire is grounding. If you have recently wired new bars internally, then check electrical continuity over each wire. Don't be surprised if you have to strip the lot and inspect, retracing your steps right back to the start.
