Default Cruise Control

On cruise control. When I have cruise control on and use the rear brake the cruise control shuts down. When I am on cruise control and just apply the front brake the cruise control stays on. It happened when I got into a corner a little hot, applied the front brake and the cruise stayed on, I did the off throttle and cruise went off. Made it though the corner. I then tried to see if I could get it to do it again. It did happen again every time. The front brake will not shut off the cruise control.

What kind of bike you are talking about? year and model might help.
In the mean time the circuitry for front and rear brakes etc should be physically the same. The both activate a stop lamp relay which appears to be working. This is based on my 2002 Road King wiring diagram. You need a wiring diagram and a volt meter to see what is going on.

Take it in to dealer ASAP (Boston HD service dept open 9-5 today, Sat 12/1). Serious safety issue, as you have indicated. Should be under warranty. Your weather is pretty decent, unlike mine. Maybe it's a quick fix.

At the dealer now. The cruise cut off started to work on the way down.
