ETS (head temp) sensor was replaced. Have also fitted a new battery. Bike hasn't been ridden for a couple of weeks, but will update when I can.

pull on the wires where they go to the ETS connector - see if it is broken inside the insulation at the connector. Code for ETS fault doesn't mean sensor is bad - means circuit has a problem - sensor is part of circuit - so are wires and connections. Many break right at the rubber where the wire enters the connector. Pull firmly.

Got a question and thought on your post. Only first and maybe second year TC had this. It is below timer cover on right side. Bean counters decided it was not necessary.

My understanding is all it did was set a code if the crank position sensor and it did not jive.

To the first poster, does your neutral position switch work fine?
