What do you mean you can't find the coil? And a Harley tech couldn't either?
I would suspect it's on the other end of the plug wires.

it could have cops installed but a hd tech would know where the plugs are, you would think???
they do make 3ph systems and high output. the series wound coils run higher temps, when mine failed, it was the connection at the winding output and vr pigtail in the primary. i had issues for several months and external testing failed to show anything till the wire burned nearly in two.
picture are worth 1000 words and will add to the diagnostics from fellow members.

If I stated coil...it was a mistake. Ignition module is what we’re looking for.

Stock location would be under the right side cover just in front of the saddlebag. It’s possible that it has been replaced by an aftermarket unit which would be totally located in the timing cover (cam cover).
