Need help & opinions. I have been reading about this and it seems doable without the need for a bike shop or dyno.
I want to install Power commander V without auto-tune, download a fuel map with a similar setup to mine and go from there.

You will need a way to monitor the A/F ratios while driving. Several systems to choose from.
It can be done.

 

Is that something that the PCV can do as I ride? if not, what kind system are you referring to for A/F ratio as I ride ?

It has the capability to make changes to many of the tune parameters with WinPV software for your windoze computer, and includes an Auto Tune capability.
Can also be used as a multi gauge console when mounted to the bike.

 

it will not autotune without an autotune module.
You would need to have a system like this— https://www.innovatemotorsports.com/
then you would ride and collect data to manually input the changes. Repeat as necessary.
Easier to just get it tuned by a competent dyno tuner.
