Default Question about installing new fuel injectors

I want to install new Screaming Eagle 5.3 fuel injectors in my bike. I've heard different things about recalibrating the ECM after install. Some say you do, others say you don't. Want to make sure not to damage engine.
I just installed S&S 585 cams on my bike and have a Power vision with a new tune On the bike too.
Any information would be great. Thanks.

2011 street glide
103ci
true duals
CFR exhaust
SE Heavy Breather
S&S 585 cams

I don't believe you need them, but if you do, you need to calibrate the ECM for them. Otherwise, because the ECM thinks it has smaller injectors, it will be holding the larger ones open longer than necessary and delivering too much fuel. Also, CFR mufflers are tuning nightmares (just one man's opinion)

I believe yours has 4.3s which would be fine for your combination.

find out how smart the ecm is.
if it uses O2 feedback, the ecm will trim back the pulse-width modulation on the injector.
if the ecm only uses O2 in certain modes, aka, not full time, the pulse will be too long for the nozzle size.

Bigger fuel injectors are like advancing the timing to make the bike go faster.

Thanks for all the replies.
I installed the new fuel injectors last night, bike started right up, ran well. Didn't take it for a ride, I will be talking with my Dyno guy today. Get his recommendation and go from there.
You are also right about CFRs being a pain to tune, but Eric from Jiffy Tune in Lake Elsinore is one of the best, he has my bike running GREAT.
Thanks again.
